 Students from Prep to
Year 7 have a specialist music lesson each
week. Music is a large part of our school culture. Our School
Choir performs throughout the year at a variety of
events such as Arts Night, Carols
Night, visits to locate childcare and kindergartens as well as
retirement homes.The Instrumental Music Program is for children in Years 5, 6 and 7. We have Beginner Band and a Concert Band that plays with the Combined Schools Band including children from other schools in the Carindale Learning Community. Both bands play throughout the year at various events including school assemblies. Children learn rhythm and coordination through dance. Our Fancy Dress Ball and Bush Dance are community events that allow the children to showcase their dance skills. |
